Meals on Wheels may be known for its food, but this holiday season, they’re collecting all kinds of gifts. The organization is filling joy bags with donations and delivering them to clients at the end of the year.
The Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA is providing pet food to people who may have limited access to transportation through a new partnership. Meals on Wheels delivers food to families in need. This new partnership will allow families to also receive food for their pets.
September 24th is Pet Hunger Awareness Day, and to recognize it, the Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA has partnered up with Meals on Wheels.
