Help Us Spread Holiday Cheer to Our Clients!
Every December, we send each of our clients a holiday joy bag with essential items and seasonal gifts. Volunteers have a special opportunity to share holiday cheer with neighbors when they deliver the bags.
We rely fully on donations from the community to pack each joy bag. Help us deliver more than a meal and spread some holiday joy at the same time!
Want to help with just a few clicks?
Your donation will cover the cost of a Holiday Joy Bag! Each bag will contain the following:
A container of salt-free seasoning
A tin of holiday cookies
A box of holiday chocolates
A heating pad
A large-print word search book
A $10 grocery store card (Harris Teeter or Food Lion)
Want to purchase items individually?
Meals on Wheels is happy to provide bags for you to use!
You may stop by our office at 704 Rose Hill Drive any time between 9 AM and 1 PM Monday-Friday to pick up bags. You are also more than welcome to provide your own bags.
Please drop off all joy bags packed at home to our office by Friday, December 18, 2026.
If you are interested in contributing in a smaller capacity, we suggest a $10 gift card to Food Lion or Harris Teeter
